Chef Felicia developed a passion for feeding others at an early age and has devoted her professional life to honing her craft. In 2017 she officially opened Shorties Sweets Eats and Treats as a home based catering and events services business. Since then, we have traveled and delivered or served food all over the country. Serving our clients outstanding and unique food made with love, is the ultimate goal.

We have continued to expand our services each year to accommodate larger events, more unique offerings, and a wider array of dishes. Starting in 2022, this also includes a custom built food trailer which will be making appearances at events all summer.

My journey of cooking for others began as a child, I watched and helped all the women in my family prepare meals for everyone. My mother also played an active role in her church, where she would prepare food for the congregation and various events and services and I was always there to watch or help. I started getting my hands dirty as a teen, working my first job in high school at Starbucks. I went to college and worked at restaurants and cafes; I would always have dinner and make baked goods for my group of friends. I continued cooking, baking and working in restaurants even after college. I started selling dinners in my community and on social media and the more food I prepared my business formed itself .. Shorties Sweets Eats and Treats began to form into a brand, as my demand continued to increase and my style of cooking and serving came together. I have been officially a business since 2017 where I started cooking at home and making custom desserts and treats, over the years I have been catering and setting up events to where my business transitioned to a full catering service. Now I am going to be opening a fully custom Food Truck.
